What Is Your Sales Strategy When Your Customer Doesn't Respond?

The anthills along the road today are higher than on my walk yesterday.

I can see the difference in the color of the new dirt on the anthills.

There is a nasty rainstorm coming. 🌧

The weather bureau says so.

And the ants know about the rain, right? 🐜🐜🐜

I looked it up on google.

There is no scientific evidence ants know it’s going to rain.

False evidence appearing real.

In sales you see it every day.

The customer was excited, saying β€œI will probably buy it.” πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ

Yet now all you hear are the crickets.

The customer doesn’t respond to your text, phone message, or email. πŸ™…β€β™€οΈ

Its like the sales conversation you had, never happened.

So, what went wrong?

You may never figure it out, yet the sales process doesn’t have to end there.

What strategy do you have in place when you hear the crickets and get no response from the customer?

You can keep leaving messages and see if they ever respond.

OR

You can restart the conversation by connecting the ..........dots.

Consider a follow up drip campaign where you send messages relating to what the customer wanted.

Restart it with a visit, text, phone call message, or email connecting the ……dots to what they told you they wanted as an outcome of purchasing your product/service.

Share with them the emotional feeling and logical results of attaining the outcome they shared with you they desired.

They spoke with you because they wanted something, a problem they wanted solved. πŸ™ƒ

Don’t be aggressive yet don’t give up.

Help them find the right solution and design that solution to be YOU!
