I’m Jim, founder of Blueprint for Selling, a coaching practice for solopreneurs, business owners and their teams. I didn’t begin with success—I learned through failure, being fired, and closing a business. Those experiences built real resilience and shaped my practical, grounded approach to helping clients succeed when it matters most.
Why am I a business coach? I’m on a mission to help business owners like you replace hustle with clarity, cut through chaos, and focus on strategy and processes that deliver measurable results.
With over 25 years of hands-on experience in sales, leadership, and customer service, I’ve worked with organizations ranging from large companies to solopreneurs.
I believe success requires stretching beyond comfort. I faced that struggle, overcame it, and built successful businesses. Now, I share the proven blueprinting processes that helped me grow. When not helping business owners grow I'm playing with my grandchildren, having fun with my daughters, golfing, playing music, with my bandmates, riding motorcycle, or spending time with my wonderful wife and family here in upstate New York.

Location where my ancestors shipwrecked off Delaware beach in 1785 while arriving in America with only three of them surviving. One of who is James McEnitre my great -great-grandfather. My family has a history of dealing with difficult challenges and how to overcome them.

Twice flunked out of college, yet transitioned to become a lifetime learner and the third try at college found me on their honors list.

Spent 3 years in the US ARMY as an Air-Traffic Controller with a year in South Korea

Fired from my first management position after delivering record profits for my store while my district manager explained I didn't know business or how to sell and should become a school teacher.

Started my own business after that and was highly successfull, and sold it by myself after 40 years.

Married 47 years to the same wonderful and beautiful redhead.

Learned how to play Bass guitar at 63 years old and now have a classic Rock band playing benefits for non-profits recently for the Camden Food Pantry
